Pod CMS Native Ads

Make the commercial relationship easy to recognize.

Native advertising can resemble the surrounding editorial experience, so presentation and disclosure need deliberate review. This page offers an editorial workflow for evaluating sponsored material. PodCMS.com does not sell native placements or operate a native ad network.

Define the editorial boundary

Identify what the advertiser supplies, what the publisher edits, and who approves claims. Keep paid messages separate from independent recommendations. A sponsor’s preferred phrasing should not silently become an editorial endorsement. Do not imply personal use, results, or testing that did not happen.

Design the label with the placement

US FTC guidance emphasizes recognizable advertising and clear disclosures. Apply the relevant rules for the actual audience and arrangement, with qualified advice where necessary. Review the disclosure on the page, card, and narrow-screen layout rather than assuming a footer statement will make every placement understandable.

Keep the placement maintainable

Record the approved creative, destination, disclosure, placement period, and correction owner. Inspect the published result. Plan for changed offers, broken links, expiration, or withdrawal requests. Keep paid placement out of unexplained rankings and retain enough evidence to explain what was approved and what was actually shown.
